Q: Will I receive a written estimate?
A: Yes. We provide our prospective customers with a professionally designed contract proposals. They include a detailed description of the work scope from start to finish.
Q: Do you offer a warranty?
A: Each contract comes with a warranty. The hard copy can be obtained from us upon request. We usually offer a three year workmanship warranty. The warranty will be automatically transferred to the subsequent registered owner of the property. However, the signed and dated original contract and a "Paid in Full" invoice must be presented in order for the warranty to retain its validity.
Q: What type of paint do you use?
A: We use high quality paint and our vendor of choice is Kelly Moore™ paint store. We are also dealing with several other major paint manufacturers such as Sherwin Williams™, Pittsburgh Paints™, Kwal Paint™, Glidden™, and Benjamin Moore™. We generally use latex paint for interior walls, ceilings, closets, and for exterior projects. Oil based paint is used on interior wooden areas such as trim, baseboards, doors, and cabinets. We also use a number of different sheens. We recommend the following sheen choices: Walls - Eggshell, Ceilings - Flat, Closets and Interior Wooden Areas - Semi Gloss, Exterior Projects - Satin. Q: What type of prep work can I expect?
A: Numerous steps are taken to ensure that a specific area is ready for paint application. Please view the detailed prep work for interior as well as the exterior projects listed below:

Q: Is a deposit required before the work begins?
A: Generally we do not require a deposit for projects totaling less than $10,000. Those big projects usually require a significant amount of money to be invested before the work can begin in which case we ask the customers to cover the cost of the materials beforehand. For anything less than $10,000, there is no upfront cost. This provides our customers with a risk free guarantee that we do stand behind our word and that we want to show off the finished product and go through the final inspection prior to payment.
Q: How do I schedule my project?
A: Simply review the contract proposal that we have submitted to you. If everything looks satisfying and you agree with all the terms and conditions, please sign and date the proposal in the appropriate area and fax or email it back to us. We will get back to you as soon as we receive your signed contract. Q: Where can I view the available color selections?
A: You can view color samples at any major paint stores (Kelly Moore™, Sherwin Williams™, Pittsburgh Paints™, Kwal Paint™, Glidden™, and Benjamin Moore™). We can also match any color of your choice or any already existing color in any of the above stores as long as you are able to provide us with a sample of that particular color. Q: How do I prepare my house for the painting?
A: It will depend on what type of painting we will be working on. If it is interior painting we will ask you to only move small/fragile/valuable objects out of the way. These could be pictures, small plants, or other easily breakable objects including small furniture. Your pets will need to be locked away for the duration of the painting. Our crew will take care of all big pieces of furniture and they will move everything back the way it was before they started. For exterior projects we will require you to clear the perimeter around the building structure of any obstructions like gardening tools, children's toys, small exterior decor, and vehicles. Again, the pets will need to be locked away. All plants, trees, shrubs and other landscape including patio furniture will be thoroughly covered or temporarily moved out of the way by our men.
Q: I'm getting my entire house painted. Can I stay in the house during the project?
A: Only in extreme cases will you be advised to move away for the duration of the project. That will largely depend on the size of the project, the materials that will be used as well as the time and the type of painting involved. We will let you know ahead of time whether a temporary move will be necessary in your case.
Q: What will happen on the first day of the project?
A: The crew will arrive anytime between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. It is important to communicate any changes, revisions, questions or concerns directly to the office or to the estimator. If you need to reschedule your appointment with the crew, other than letting them know about it directly you have to make sure to let the office know as well. We can only be responsible for a timely work progress based on the information that the main office will receive. Only then can we avoid any unwanted miscommunication and misunderstandings.
